Non-member Play

Limited non-member play is permitted through group golf outings, tournaments and public promotions scheduled around Member Play.  Unless you are the guest of a member, please call Rick Jacobson at 706-569-0966 for a "prospective member" round.  Or. pre-register for Saturday afternoon "Potential Member Days" (April 17, May 22, June 26, Aug. 21, Sept. 18) where you'll enjoy lunch, range balls, 18 holes with cart and two drinks after play for just $40,  and have a chance to join at a substantial group discount.

About Maple Ridge Golf Club

Maple Ridge Golf Club is a private golf club built in 1993 by the W.C. Bradley Co. Real Estate Division as the centerpiece of what has become a 550-home residential community.  Originally a public golf course, we operated as both a semi-private and private facility before, during and after a $2 million renovation in 1998-99.  With membership input, Maple Ridge converted to fully private status and has remained as such for more than five years.

                Famed Columbus resident and 1987 Masters champion Larry Mize and course architect Craig Schreiner re-designed Maple Ridge into a beautiful, challenging layout by eliminating a number of substandard greens and dramatically changing the contours of at least half the 18 holes.  Over the years since, ongoing tree removal, bunker renovations and superior course maintenance by Superintendent Doug Smith’s crew have made Maple Ridge as strong a course and as enjoyable to play as any in the region.

Membership Options

  Membership at Maple Ridge comes with a modest initiation fee, age-based to favor younger golfers who are in the process of building their income.

• Senior (60+)
• Intermediate (30-34)
• Junior Intermediate (25-29)
• Junior (18-24)
• Student (10-17)
• Military (Active-Duty)
  
• Weekday (any age) Memberships.
  

 A monthly dues structure pays for unlimited greens fees and practice range usage, and only Full Family memberships have hit or topped $200 per month in dues.  A great many benefits are accorded members (advance tee time and liberal guest privileges, 20% golf shop discount, reciprocal play at several great area courses, and much more).

Tournaments, Activities, & Events

Maple Ridge has very strong Men’s, Ladies and Junior Golf Associations and conducts more member tournaments and “dogfights” (points-based competition) than any golf venue in the area.  We’ve developed a reputation as “the” premier place to hold private golf outings from 8 to 200 persons, mostly on Tuesdays when we’re closed to our members.   We proudly host the annual Chattahoochee Cup (June), Ridgefest invitational (October) and the revived Chattahoochee Valley Amateur (August 14-15, 2010) which we anchor and share with a rotation of other fine local public courses and country clubs.
